Are we all in a trance?

There is so much going on these days. We are all bombarded with information from the moment we get up in the morning top the moment we fall asleep.

We are told how to live from advertising and social pressure. We get told what is right for us and more and more we perhaps put aside our own feelings to take someone else’s opinions on how to live.

Those with money in corporations know what they want, what they want is more money, and the way to sustain this is to make their products appealing to the mass public.success2

The easiest way to make the public consume and buy more products is to keep them in fear and wanting.

So, in this respect we are all in a hypnotic trance. We are in a trance of believing other’s ideas and not our own. We are in a trance of consumerism because we are hypnotized into it.

I know this may sound dramitic, but really I am just trying to outlay here the truth of our society, which is clearly based primarily on economics and a general manipulation of information to achieve its continued survival.

If any of us were to spend a few months living in a cave or away in a non greed based society I’m sure we would start to see more original ideas come through ourselves.

We would see more general kindness towards each other and recognize how brutal we have become to others feelings in the fast paced world of getting ahead.

I think that the fact that we cannot see that we are being manipulated by the money system to run around like dogs trying to put other people out of bsuiness to make our own is a clear example of the chaos that prevails.

Just imagine for a moment that we didn’t have to beat others to succeed? For example if succeeding in sport meant that winning or losing didn’t matter, just how you play the game. Of that it didn’t matter what job you did in this world it was rewarded equally or more fairly.

This would be a very different world.

The fact that we cannot see most of this is clear evidence I think that we are all in a trance that is so deep we cannot see that we have become so petty and unfair.

I wonder if one day we will be able to come out of the trance and smell the roses more clearly. To see that we are not required to reward only those at the top, but give recognition to all levels of creation.
