Dealing with fear, Rocky confesses he’s afraid.

If you have been dealing with fears that you are not good enough and anxious or panicking, take a note of what Rocky is saying in this scene. He says to Adrian, “I’m afraid! I don’t want to lose what I got! I don’t believe in myself no more!”

This is so similar to dealing with major anxiety and panic, because we are afraid of what we have which is our dignity. We don’t want to be completely vulnerable to let others see that we are going through some real doubts about ourselves. But, If we can have the courage to say whatever is on our mind and open our hearts with no excuses, then we can be healed. We don’t need to be afraid of making a fool of ourselves. We are okay, even if we make a fool of ourselves, because the moment you let go and let it happen the fear will instantly subside and people will actually open up and support you in ways you can’t even imagine.

Adrian says to Rocky: “You can’t live like this! Even if you fail at least go out with some dignity.”

don’t be afraid of making a fool of yourself, let yourself out and be vulnerable, fear then has no place to hide.
